Roulette Table

Among all game tables what table is the most easily recognizable symbol of gambling in the entire world? Roulette table, of course, and some typical parts of roulette table, which can be found on the every roulette set. The long roulette table, which the player usually sees in the large casinos, can accommodate between six and eight roulette players quite easily. There are two different types of game tables (for playing roulette of course): American Roulette Table andEuropean Roulette Table.

American Roulette Table

European roulette table andAmerican roulette table have some differences. The numbers on the American roulette table wheel are 1 to 36, 0, and 00. The numbers alternate pairs of odd numbers with pairs of even numbers. On the American roulette table wheel numbers also alternate between black and red. Thus the house average playing roulette on the American roulette table is 1/19 (5.26%); the same applies for the other kinds of bets, except for the five number bet where it a greater than 7%. The house average is approximately halved in the game on the European roulette table.

European Roulette table

There are some signs and symbols that appear next to the numbers on the European Roulette table: Manqué (the numbers from 1 to 18), Passé (the numbers from 19 to 36), Pair (even), Impair (odd), and two diamond-shaped symbols (red and black). Also, six squares, three on the left and three on the right, can be found at the bottom of the roulette table: these are marked P12 (12 Premier, or first dozen, the numbers from 1 to 12), M12 (12 Milieu, or second dozen, the numbers from 13 to 24), and D12 (12 Derniere, or third dozen, the numbers from 25 to 36). Stakes on dozens are placed at the center of the corresponding squares on the roulette table. Finally, three empty squares are found at the center position of the bottom of the roulette table. These squares are used for placing stakes on columns of numbers. When a player of the European roulette table places a stake on the first square on the left on the roulette table, he is betting on the vertical column of numbers from 1 to 34.In European roulette table the wheel is made of wood with a diameter of 22,05 inches and consists of 37 slots, numbered from 0 through 36. All Roulette players, and even those who don't play, are well acquainted with the appearance of the roulette wheel and the betting layout. Red and black numbers determine the sum of the digits, which make up each black number is even, while the sum of the digits, which make up each red number is odd.
